Hello sexy!! My gosh it's good to be back...

A huge thank you to the divine Miss Andrea Fox for looking after you so graciously over the last few weeks while I eloped to Thailand. First holiday with Steve the Boyfriend (it went well, we didn't kill eachother and we've seen eachother since...) and there's nothing like vomiting on eachother on a 2 hr boat ride to bring you both together. Turns out it's monsoon season in Thailand as well so no tans but some lovely red bites- what a treat!

Can't believe the John Sergeant nonsense! Crawling to the TV in the jetlagged sleepy state I thought he's passed away all the damn fuss! Someone said it was like Stalingrad! Ridic.

Can't believe Laura's off X Factor as well and I'm a Celeb has started with the king and queen of 90's daytime telly- Kilroy and Ester, it's a surreal return.

Best music stiry today- Brendon Flowers of Killers fame is all upset about everyone getting the lyrics to "Human" wrong- it's "are we dancer?" not "are we denser?" Bless.

Thanks for you texts gloating about The Whip gig as well, glad you had fun! But also very jealous so don't want to talk about it anymore...

Friday fun tomorrow! Love you longtime, lush to be back...

  • A show filled with Bond and Girls!
    Added
    11/13/2008 - 18:21

The names Bond, James Bond. I finally got to the Odeon to watch ‘Q of S.’
Great action, lovely Daniel Craig, too much popcorn though…

Thanks for today’s Magic Moments, involving beers with old friends, baths with chocolate and flirting with men who sell coffee… not all at once, but those were the moments of joy in Brighton and Hove today.
Mine was a member of band Kovak saying “You’re Andrea off the radio? You’re not as fat as I imagined.” It was my magic moment of the past 24 hours, sort of…

Sticking with that theme (erm… the size of my bum?) Personal trainer Sam of Miss Fit has been giving me some tips! She popped in before the Live Makeover Show to put me and Guy through our paces! www.missandmrfit.co.uk

Today the showbiz stories in Andrea’s Medium Ones were, Jacko losing Neverland, Ronson still mad at Winehouse for not being fit to do the Bond song, Adele wishes Laura was still in the X-Factor, Sach’s and Cleese do Manuel and Basil for Prince Charles 60th Birthday and Kanye West says the MTV Awards in Liverpool were A FIX!

I chatted to Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding about their new number one album Out Of Control and she revealed that the Girls all pick their noses! Hear that boys? PICK. THEIR. NOSES! We played the track with the Pet Shop Boys The Loving Kind as well as the number one single The Promise.

Our Transmanche winner today was Debbie! Not many spaces left so listen out for the cue to call!

On tomorrows show find out why I was left thinking coffee or goat?…

Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday… is it just me or did it feel like Thursday?

Mercury Rev were brilliant at Concorde 2 last night, although I had a gig first, some guy accidentally pinged my bra strap as he whizzed past me to the front!

Magic Moments today featured everything from new babies to eating donuts with colleagues, without licking your lips, or theirs!

Andrea’s Medium ones today featured Cheryl Cole on Vogue front cover, the Boyzone boys in a bust up in a bar, Beyonce says she’d love to play Glastonbury, James Morrison is to perform his new track with Keisha on this Friday’s Children In Need and The I’m a Celeb victim’s – sorry! Contestants have been announced. It starts on ITV this Saturday; expect Mike Ward, TV critic for the Daily Star, to have a strong opinion. He’ll be back on the show on Monday!

I’m lazy! It’s official. I haven’t seen Casino Royale and I’m seeing Quantum Of Solace at 8pm at the Odeon! EEK! Resident film reviewer Jonesy helped me out with a synopsis – Imdb eat your heart out! Thanks as well to Sue and Dan who helped me out!

Wednesday’s Transmanche winner was Elliot! Another chance to win on Brekkie with Guy tomorrow!

Tonight’s band on ‘Almost Famous’ was Stars and Sons. Love their track In The Ocean, like a mix between Ben Folds Five, The Flaming Lips and (in my opinion) Boy Least Likely To. They play tonight at Concorde 2 in support of Okkervil River and at Latest Music Bar on Monday 17th. Check them out!
    www.starsandsons.co.uk

Right I’m off to watch Bond and check out Pampero Rum’s night at Audio! Tomorrow I chat to Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud about their new album...

  • Tonight Matthew King Alfred will be...

Still feeling a tad fragile after meeting Tony Marks from Sports Saturday last night for A beer. I'm pretty sure there's a red phone box inside the White Rabbit pub in Kensington Gardens, but maybe it was the beer.

Tony will be hosting the Sussex Sports Awards at the Hilton on Friday 21st. You can vote for Sussex Young Sports Personality and Sports Personality here, they're pretty amazing athletes www.sussexsport.org

But voting closes this Friday so get cracking!

Magic moments today involved po go sticks for Christmas, making crispie cornflake cakes and reunions with long lost friends! Keep your eyes peeled for them!

The King Alfred development has fallen through, so the council are meeting to discuss what to do to make it look at bit nicer in the meantime. The news team were out on the streets asking Brighton what we should do with it. Some great suggestions included turning it into somewhere for young people to go and one guy thought it should be a Space Station? My vote goes for a theme park! Rollercoaster’s to rival the pier please!

Well done to Claire who won today's passes for four on our Juicey Cruise to France with Transmanche ferries. Not many chances left so keep 'em pinned back for your cue to call!

Tonight’s Cover Me track - by a 80/20 landslide you went for Lady Marmalade by Labelle over Pink, Christina and co's versions for the release of the film Moulin Rouge.

Tomorrow we talk Bonds and I bring you another band on the cusp of greatness in Almost Famous!

Then it was off to the seafront for mines and Guy's set - big shout out to everyone who came to 'DANCE THEIR PANTS OFF' at the Funky Fish club!

Thanks for the Friday Magic Moments today – special mention to Steve who became a Granddaddy!!

Cake or death? Eddie Izzard was born in Bexhill? I didn’t know that! Apparently he’ll be doing a reunion gig at the De La Warr Pavilion this month, as part of his huge ‘Stripped’ tour.

Well done to our Mercury Rev ticket winner. Chris knew that the band were formed in New York. They play Concorde 2 next Tuesday, tickets are £16 in advance, more on the door.

Andrea’s Medium Ones looked at the big showbiz stories including Amy not paying hubby Blake’s rehab bill, Mariah’s 27 bags of luggage for a one night stay in the UK to perform on the X Factor and the Open All Hours shop going under the hammer!

See you all at the Funky Fish later as me and Guy battle it out on the decks!

On Monday’s show I’ll be joined by Mike Ward, TV critic for the Daily Star taking a look at next week’s ‘must-sees’ and I’m in conversation with Alesha Dixon ahead of the release of her new track The Boy Does Nothing.

Big shout out to you if you were at Hot Chip last night - maybe you can see yourself in my snap?

Great Magic Moments kicked us off on the show today - keep an eye out for them tomorrow!

Well done to Emma who is going on our Juicey Cruise to Dieppe with Transmanche ferries. She's been trying to win for ages as it's her birthday on Friday 21st of November, so she wants to celebrate with French plonk!

I've been woken by some strange things in my time, but a text from my friend this morning is the most odd in a while – she had a dream that me and Guy were acrobats in World War 2? We were very good apparently! Tina text in – she dreamt of making pea soup last night – do you work in a kitchen Tina?

Lewes FC is up for sale. Despite being promoted to the (cough) Blue Square Premier League, losing their manager and getting rid of half the team has lead to tens of thousands of pounds of debt! I haven’t got enough cash for that, but I do know a manager who may fancy flying in to turn their luck around… Harry Redknapp! He loves an underdog does Harry…

Talking of Lewes… Lewis Hamilton knows how to show a girl a good time. He’s been taking his Pussycat Doll girlfriend on a tour of his home town… Stevenage. I think her birthplace – Hawaii beats anything Stevenage has to offer!

I did some online panic shopping today – I brought a dress online. I need it! So many Christmas Balls! Tonight at the Old Market it’s Burlesque Against Breast Cancer.
Next month the Snowman Spectacular at the Brighton Hilton Metropole! You can win VIP tickets to join our Juice table at that event on the Breakfast show with Guy tomorrow, plus someone will win a Life Makeover Package worth over £500!

    See you from 3pm!

    H,H,H, Holiday...As Madonna once sang!

Sarah's off to Thailand, so it's Andrea (you know me - from Breakfast!) who gets to cover.

I'm loving the lie in! In fact - it's my Magic Moment! Thanks for yours today - the best has to be Matthew - he's only got a new job after a month of searching!

You may remember I was invited to a US Election party a while back (rock n roll I know!) Well I failed. I was falling asleep into my pint at 9pm so I thought it best not to stay up all night. Well done Mr Obama!

Well done to Mikey who was our final winner for the Pryoman fireworks! His three daughters are very very pleased!

Lenny was our Transmanche winner - he's got four places on our Juicey Cruise to Dieppe on Fri 21st of November!

I love fireworks almost as much as cake, but there's no way I'm going to Lewes. If I want to be part of a scrum, I'll join a women's rugby team. If you are going, look after yourselves and each other!

Today's Almost Famous band were Kovak! They're on teh cusp of greatness! We played you their track I Love the Dancefloor. I love the song! If you liked it to find out how to download it at www.kovak.co.uk.
If you're in a band and you want to hear your track on this here station, log on to www.juicebrighton.com/almostfamous

Last show for a little while- I'm only going to flippin' Thailand! I've got 24 hrs to loose a stone and a half, hmm, best forget it and have a Thai to get me in the mood... the fabulous Andrea Fox will be taking care of you for the next couple of weeks!

Have fun now, be good and I'll bring you back something nice.
