SAM KELLY'S STATION HOUSE BAND

The unique sound of Sam Kelly's Station House Band is a mix of British funk, soul and reggae with its roots based firmly in the blues. Their first set will be packed with some of Station House's favourite compilations. During the second set, the Band will be joined by Jimmy Lindsay who, together with Sam Kelly, were founder members of "Cymande". It's been 35 years since Cymande split in 1974. Many bands have covered Cymande material and DJs still continue to cut and paste the grooves onto dance tracks.
